FirstLine’s leaders have been devoted to providing better educational opportunities for New Orleans children for nearly 20 years. FirstLine is the founding organization of New Orleans Charter Middle School, the city’s first charter school and the highest-performing open-enrollment public middle school in the city before flooding from Hurricane Katrina destroyed the building. Now, FirstLine Schools continues to provide leadership in transforming the education experience of children across New Orleans.
